Green Bay Packers – After passing for a career high 408 yards with six touchdowns (four passing two rushing) Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers moved to four and zero on the season. Entering week five, Rodgers and company will be taking on the Atlanta Falcons, and are a five and a half favorite in the game. Despite routing Denver this past weekend, the Packers showed signs of losing the game early, as the defense allowed the Broncos to hang around for the majority of the first half, allowing 23 points. If Green Bay’s defense struggles against Atlanta, they could see their place atop the power rankings move. Baltimore Ravens – If there is one team that is likely to sports betting move past the Green Bay Packers atop the power rankings, it will be the Baltimore Ravens. Currently sitting at three and one on the season, the Ravens have week five off, but should finish the year with a 14 and two record. This past weekend against the New York Jets, the veteran lineup of the Ravens, appeared eerily similar to the Ravens team that won the Super Bowl in 2002. The only difference between those teams is that Joe Flacco is a good quarterback, while Trent Dilfer was not. New Orleans Saints – Don’t look now, but the New Orleans Saints appear better then the 2009 –10 championship winning squad. The Saints offense led by Drew Brees and Darren Sproles have caused nightmares, for opposing defenses this season. |
